Welcome to STØLÅS, Being a long time watch enthusiast Curtis Stolaas began to dream of what a “perfect” watch would look like. Would it be gold, steel, or plastic? Would it be sporty or more luxurious? A pilot style or a diver style watch? With all these questions in mind he knew most importantly it would have to survive the severe conditions of everyday use by anyone in the world. Dreaming of a watch he thought he’d never see is how the STØLÅS Watch Co. was founded in 2009. Draconian Timekeepers™ would be the fundamental platform on which to create his first collection, the Harbormaster. A draconian watch would have to stand up to the strictest and most severe conditions a user may encounter in his/her life adventure. Yet, not everyone spends a month at sea, climbs Mt. Everest, or hikes across the desert so it would also need profound aesthetic appeal. In order to accomplish what he intended to create, he knew his instruments would have to consist of quality parts from around the globe and invest time in designing new exciting technology.
